POWER SUPPLY

The speaker operates with the micro USB charging cable (included) or with a USB type adaptor (not included) 5V, 1A. Input: 100 ~ 240V, 50/60 Hz.

Power supply

  1. Check that the unit is switched off.
  2. Insert the small end of the micro USB cable (included) into the micro USB charging port on the back of the unit.
  3. Connect the other end of the micro USB cable into the USB port of your powered computer or USB type power adaptor and connect it to a wall socket. The LED near the micro USB charging port lights up in red when the device is charging.
  4. Once charging is completed, the LED light will turn off.

Note: Please note that the micro USB cable can be used for battery charging only and not for data transfer.

  • Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Please only replace it with the same or equivalent battery.
  • The battery should not be exposed to high temperatures, such as sunlight, fire or anything similar.
  • Significant electromagnetic interference or electrostatic discharges may cause the device to malfunction or lose data. If the device is not functioning correctly, switch it off and then on again, or unplug the USB cable.

FUNCTIONS & MODES

To turn the speaker on/off and adjust the volume, turn the On/Off/Volume button (1).

MODES

The speaker includes different modes: Bluetooth®, USB, TF card (up to 32GB), AUX in and FM radio.

  • To change mode, shortly press the M/LED button (8).
  • In Bluetooth®, USB and TF modes, press Previous, Play/Pause and Next buttons (9, 10, 11) to control your audio files.
  • In AUX-in mode, these buttons are disabled. Please use the control buttons on your music player.
  • You can sing by connecting the microphone (included) to the Microphone jack (7) when in Bluetooth®, Aux-In, USB or TF card mode.
  • In Radio FM mode, long press the Play/Pause button (10) and release to start the scan function. Use Next button (11) to navigate to the next station.

BLUETOOTH PAIRING

  1. Turn the unit on.
  2. Activate the Bluetooth® function on your personal device and make sure it is in discoverable mode.
  3. Confirm pairing or select the Bluetooth® name "BTP585" to connect your player to the speaker.
  4. If pairing is successful, the Bluetooth® light will stop flashing and glow steadily. You can play an audio or a video file. The speaker will issue a sound after the speaker has connected successfully.
  5. To stop the connection with the speaker, press another mode on the top panel or a button on your audio player. Once the connection has been stopped, the LED indicator will flash.

Your audio player must support the A2DP Bluetooth® profile to match this portable karaoke. Please refer to your audio player's instruction manual for accurate information about the Bluetooth® profiles it supports, and how to set up Bluetooth® pairing.

Note: Some music players do not fully support Bluetooth® audio controls. Play/pause, previous and next buttons on the Bluetooth® speaker may not respond. The music player may also turn off. To get the best control experience in the said player, use the on-screen track controls of your music player rather than those on the speaker.

CONNECT 2 SPEAKERS IN STEREO

You can connect two BTP585Z speakers together to enjoy stereo sound (available only in Bluetooth mode):

  1. Turn on two BTP585Z speakers simultaneously.
  2. Press the Play/Pause button (10) twice on one of the two speakers. A sound indicator will be played once they are successfully connected together.
  3. Activate the Bluetooth® function of your audio player and confirm the pairing to the speaker (BTP585) as explained in the previous section.

LIGHT EFFECTS

Long press the M/LED button (8) to turn the light effects on/off.


Too high volume can damage your hearing. For this reason, lease turn the volume down.
