Numbering Sockets When Installing New Modules

There are several different types of mount modules that can be installed in the
LDM-4616 chassis. The chassis can be purchased separately (ILX P/N LDM-
4600). When installing modules into a chassis, each socket must be numbered
correctly to coincide with the correct back panel connector. Module shipping kits
contain numbered stickers for this purpose. Contact ILX Lightwave if you need
additional numbered stickers.
Figure 4.1 shows the correct socket numbering. Apply a sticker with the correct
number in the small smooth square next to each socket. Please read the
CAUTION statement below for further information. See Chapter 3 for instructions
on configuring the pins and installing the modules.
