OFF. 4) Turn OFF the Initialize-1 switch. If “All clear” is performed, the entire information maintained in the EJ-210 is set to the default value. In order to control the EJ-210, the entire data must be set again.
MIURA_CONFIDENTIAL 3.2 Backup Battery Check Before turning ON the EJ-210, check that the backup battery (lithium battery) inside the control box is connected properly. The battery life is approximately 3 years. Therefore, replace the battery every 3 years. 3.3 Display Operation Setting Make all settings necessary for MI control through display operations.

BP-201. Set this item to “No” if combustion control is to be performed based on the pressure setting value set in the boiler or the EJ-210. Combustion control is performed in the boiler alone, separately from MI control.
Page 24
During MI control, control is performed in consideration of the boiler steam output. Set the equivalent output of the boiler to which the EJ-210 is to be connected. In the case of a boiler with a BG-type or XJ1-type controller mounted, the steam output set in the boiler is set in the Automatic Setting mode.
Page 25
The setting value is disabled when “Blowdown notification” is set to “No” in a boiler other than the boilers with a BG-type, BK-type, BL-type, and XJ1-type controller mounted. Note that in the EJ-210, priority combustion is performed by judging that a blowdown has been performed under the following conditions.

MIURA_CONFIDENTIAL (12) Pressure sensor full scale This item is for setting the full scale value when the optional pressure sensor for the EJ-210 is connected. Set the full scale value of the pressure sensor to be connected to the EJ-210 according to the table shown below.
This item is used for pressure control, when “Manual” operation is performed in the EJ-210. In a boiler with a BG-type, BL-type, or XJ1-type controller mounted, or a boiler in which “Pressure sensor” is set to “Yes” in the EJ-210, make the setting according to the usage conditions of the customer.
As for the boiler pressure setting, it is necessary to set a slightly higher pressure value so that MI control by the boiler system operation panel BP-201 (and the EJ-210) is not hindered. To ensure that all conditions of boiler pressure settings shown below are satisfied, set the pressure based on the boiler steam pressure switch or steam pressure sensor.
4.1 Checking the Communication between the EJ-210 and the Boiler Check the detection status of the input of each signal from the boiler, as well as the communication status between the EJ-210 and the boiler. Set “Maintenance display” to “Yes”, and then check the following.
Note 1: If a communication error occurs between the EJ-210 and the boiler system operation panelBP-201, the number of errors is counted up. While the power is supplied to the EJ-210, if the power is not supplied to the boiler system operation panelBP-201 or the panel is in the state immediately after the start of power supply, the number of errors is counted up.
MIURA_CONFIDENTIAL 4.3 Checking the Operation of MI Control and Boiler Combustion Control Check the operation of combustion control of the boiler when “MI control” is set to “Auto” or “Manual”. The status monitor of the boiler system operation panel BP-201 is used for checking the operation. Connect a PC with the MOM communication software installed and display the status monitor, and then check the operation according to the procedure described below.
Page 32
• In the case of a boiler with a BG-type, BL-type, or XJ1-type controller mounted, or a boiler with the EJ-210 on which a steam pressure sensor is mounted, check that operation switches among standby, low-fire operation, and high-fire operation according to the pressure setting value of the EJ-210(refer to “3.3.3Settings in the User Operation Mode (1)”).
