SRT Bandwidth Overhead
The Bandwidth Overhead is a
percentage which is set
according to the network link.
You can multiply this percentage
value by the encoder-encoded
video and audio total bitrates to
get the maximum overhead
which is allowed by the
Bandwidth overhead. This value
plus the total value of the video
and audio bitrates is the
maximum value of the current
SRT transmission bandwidth,
which is the maximum
bandwidth of this SRT channel.
The purpose of the bandwidth
overhead is to transfer the
control message data packet
which accompany the SRT
streaming. Moreover, it also
includes the retransmission for
all of the media packets. If the
network link condition is worse,
more exchanges for the control
message data packets and more
retransmissions for the media
data packets will be needed.
And you need to set a higher
Bandwidth Overhead value.
SRT Stream ID Enable
This option allows you to turn
on or turn off the SRT Stream ID.
The Stream ID is an information
which can be exchanged
between the SRT Caller and the
SRT Listener when the SRT
connection is established. This
Stream ID information allows
the SRT Listener to determine
