INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

  • Set the frame to the desired angle.
  • Connect the cord to the appliance (at the back of the mirror), then plug in, or place batteries in the battery compartment.
  • Press the switch button to «I» to turn lighting on.
  • After use, always switch off the appliance. Let the appliance cool down to room temperature before storing.

MAINTENANCE

If cleaning becomes necessary, unplug the electrical cord and wipe the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth. Clean the mirror with a glass cleaner. Do not switch the mirror on until it is completely dry.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

This mirror uses 3 AA batteries.
To insert batteries, turn the back of the appliance to the left to open, then lift off the back of the housing. Insert 3 AA alkaline batteries, direction as indicated on battery compartment (Alkaline batteries will ensure the best perfomance and longest life for your appliance). If you are not going to use the unit for a long period of time, or if the battery is dead, remove the battery from the unit. After inserting batteries, close battery compartment and turn unit to I position.

Only use new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS


  • the polyethylene bags over the product or its packaging may be dangerous. Keep these bags out of the reach of babies and children. Never use them in cribs, children's beds, pushchairs or playpens. The thin film may cling to the nose and mouth and prevent breathing. A bag is not a toy.


  • do not use over or near washbasins, bathtubs, showers or other containers with water. Store the unit in a dry place.

  • If you are using the unit in a bathroom, unplug it after you have finished using it. Using the unit close to a source of water can, in fact, be dangerous, even if the unit is switched off. To ensure additional protection, have installed in your bathroom a residual current device (RCD) with a nominal trip current no higher than 30 mA. Ask your electrical fitter for advice.
  • Never immerse the unit in water or any other liquid.
  • Only use the adaptor provided to operate or charge the unit.
  • If either the adaptor or the power cord is damaged, have the part replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales service or someone similarly qualified so as to avoid any danger.
  • Do not use the unit if it has fallen or if it appears to be damaged.
  • Do not leave the unit unattended when it is plugged in or switched on.
  • Unplug the unit immediately if you have problems when using it.
  • Make sure the mirror is not positioned to reflect sunlight so as not to start a fire.
  • Unplug the unit after each use and before cleaning it.
  • Do not leave the unit plugged into the mains for longer than 24 hours.
  • This unit is not intended for use by people (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or by persons who lack experience or knowledge, unless they are supervised or have been given instructions beforehand on the use of the unit by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to make sure they do not treat the unit like a toy.
  • To prevent damage to the cord, do not wrap it around the unit and ensure it is stored without twisting or folding it.
  • This unit complies with the standards recommended by Directives 04/108/EC (electromagnetic compatibility) and 06/95/EC (safety of domestic electrical equipment)

END-OF-LIFE ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
In everybody's interest and to participate actively in protecting the environment:

  • Do not dispose of your products with your household waste.

  • Use the return and collection systems available in your country. Some materials can in this way be recycled or recovered.

RECYCLING CELLS AND RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
