4.5 LED Indicators

LAN LEDs
The Ethernet ports each have two LEDs. One LED indicates activity when flashing, while the
other LED may be green, amber or off to indicate the speed of the connection.
Dedicated IPMI LAN LEDs
A dedicated IPMI LAN port is also included on the motherboard. The amber LED on the right
of the IPMI LAN port indicates activity, while the green LED on the left indicates the speed
of the connection.
Unit ID LED
A rear unit identifier (UID) indicator at LED1 is located near the UID switch on the I/O back
panel. It provides easy identification of a unit that may need service.
Onboard Power LED
LEDPWR is an Onboard Power LED. When this LED is lit, it means power is present on the
motherboard. In suspend mode this LED will blink on and off.
BMC Heartbeat LED
LEDM1 is the BMC heartbeat LED. When the LED is blinking green, BMC is functioning
normally.
