If the engine oils listed in the table are not
available, you may add a maximum of 1.0 litre
of the following engine oils once only.
Engine oils for one-time lling only in exceptional
cases:
MB-Freigabe or MB-Approval 229.51 or

ARNING Risk of an accident due to
vapour pockets forming in the brake sys-
tem
The brake uid constantly absorbs moisture
from the air. This lowers the boiling point of
the brake uid. If the boiling point is too low,
vapour pockets may form in the brake system
when the brakes are applied hard.
This impairs the braking e ect.
Have the brake uid renewed at the

If antifreeze comes into contact with hot com-
ponent parts in the engine compartment, it
may ignite.
Allow the engine to cool down before

you top up the antifreeze.
Make sure that no antifreeze spills out

Thoroughly clean the antifreeze from

component parts before starting the
vehicle.
