WEEE Directive

The analyzer is not subject to WEEE Directive 2002/96/
EC (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) or relevant
national laws (for example, ElektroG in Germany) .
The product must be disposed of at a specialized recycling
facility . Do not use municipal garbage collection points .
According to the WEEE Directive 2002/96/EC, only products
used in private applications may be disposed of at municipal
garbage facilities . Proper disposal prevents negative effects on
people and the environment and supports the reuse of valuable
raw materials .

Labels

The following three labels are on or in the analyzer to identify
hazardous areas . The first two labels are located on the carbon
fiber plate on the bottom of the analyzer . The last label is
located on the laser enclosure adjacent to the OA-ICOS cell .
