Appendix B
Shipping the Analyzer
1 Obtain and print an RMA form from ABB (email
icos .support@ca .abb .com) .
2 Disconnect all connections from the analyzer . Return the
external antenna with the analyzer .
3 Cover the gas inlet .
4 Carefully place the analyzer in the plastic bag, then tape the
bag shut to protect the analyzer from dust and other
particulate matter during shipping . Place the external
antenna in a small plastic bag and tape to the analyzer
plastic bag .
5 The foam packaging material may be notched in specific
places to account for protrusions . Place the appropriate half
of the foam insert into the bottom of the box .
6 Place the analyzer in the box .
7 Place the top foam insert into the box .
8 Tape the box shut using packing tape . It is advised to tape
along all three edges of the top flaps on the box .
9 Tape the RMA form to the outside of the box .
10 Ship to:
