Turning on the TTC

Before deployment, it is recommended to test the transponder with the Test and
Configuration unit (TTC) to make sure the transponder is fully operational.
Procedure
1 Open the suitcase.
Push the button in the middle of the fastener to open it.
2 Turn on the main power switch to start the program.
This takes approximately 1.5 minutes.

Acoustic test

Test the transponder acoustics to make sure it is functioning correctly..
Procedure
1 Set
TTC Power
to confirm your selection.
Set
2 Connect the test transducer cable to the upper right connector.
3 Place the test transducer face to face with the transponder transducer.
4 Select the

5 Type in the serial number, if necessary.
6 Type in the transponder channel number, if necessary.
7 Tap .
Interrogate
8 A green indicator will flash on the display if there is acoustic contact with the
transponder.
9 Tap

Transponder channels

All transponders have the default channel numbers on the label.
cNODE Micro only operates in Cymbal mode and uses the channels M01 - M56 for
SSBL and M57 - M62 for LBL interrogation. Channels such as B12 are not supported,
as they are for FSK use.
