    Chapter 1 Introduction Overview The 6048R-E1CR24H is a high-end storage system comprised of two main sub- systems: the SC846BE1C-R920B 4U/rack mount chassis and the X10DRH-iT dual processor serverboard. Please refer to our website for information on operating systems that have been certified for use with the system (www.supermicro.com).

    Three 8-cm hot-swap chassis fans and two 8-cm exhaust fans provide the cooling for the SuperServer 6048R-E1CR24H. It is very important that the chassis top cover is properly installed and making a good seal in order for the cooling air to circulate properly through the chassis and cool the components.
