OPERATING THE UNIT

Caution:
Do not insert the plug of the patient lead wire into any AC power
supply socket.
Place electrode pads on skin
Apply electrode pads to the area where the pain is felt (refer to An-
nex A: placement of electrodes). Before applying electrodes, be sure
the skin surface over which electrode pads are placed is thoroughly
clean and dry. Make sure the electrode pads are pressed firmly to
the skin and make good contact between the skin and the electrode
pads. Place the electrode pads over the skin, attach them properly,
firmly, and evenly.
Caution:
1. Before applying the electrode pads to the body, ensure the skin
surface is clean and free from lotions or moisturizers.
2. Do not switch the device on when self-adhesive electrode pads
are not positioned on the body.
3. Never remove the pads from the skin whilst the device is still
switched on.
4. For hygiene reasons we recommend that the electrode pads are
replaced every 30 days.
5. Please make sure the device is completely turned off before
connecting.
6. It is recommended that, at minimum, 40mm x 40mm self-adhering
based, square electrodes are used at the treatment area.
7. For hygienic reasons, each patient should use their own set of
electrodes.
Turn the device on:
Push up the "Power ON/OFF" switch (A) on the right side of unit to
turn the device on, the following screen will appear:
Select the program:
There are 11 (P03~P13) preset programs and 4 (P1, P2, S, A) user
programs available for you to select. The details of the programs,
please refer to section programs. Press the "MODE" button (E), you
can select the therapeutic program you need. And the LCD will dis-
play like following:
