Engine oil change
If the engine oil is dirty, engine wear will occur more rapidly. Change
the oil at designated intervals. Maintain the oil at the proper level.
OIL CHANGE INTERVAL: Every year, before operation.
RECOMMENDED OIL: Use oil of API service classification SE or later,
QUANTITY SPECIFIED: 0.58 L (0.61 US qt, 0.51 lmp qt)
How to change the oil:
1.Place the snowblower on a level surface. Remove the oil filler cap/
dipstick, the drain bolt and sealing washer.
Drain the oil while the engine is still warm to assure rapid and
complete draining.
2.Reinstall the drain bolt and new sealing washer, and tighten the drain
bolt securely.
CAUTION:
If you drain the oil immediately after stopping the engine, its
temperature will be high and may cause burns.
