8. OPERATION

8.15. Radio as a Bluetooth receiver

The radio can be connected to an external device
(e.g. smartphone, tablet) via Bluetooth.
The Bluetooth connection can then be used to play media

(locally stored MP3 files, streamed music, online radio) from external
devices via the radio. Select Bluetooth in the menu.
A Bluetooth connection must be established before you can send audio
files to the radio via Bluetooth.

8.15.1. Establishing a Bluetooth connection

Press the Menu button on the remote control or on the device, and select
Bluetooth mode.
Once you have selected the Bluetooth mode on the radio,
the device will be in pairing mode and will search for Bluetooth devices to
connect to.
Now activate the Bluetooth function on the external device to be con-
nected (for further details, please refer to the operating manual for this
device). In the overview of available devices, search for
'DIRA M 1 A / DIRA M 1 A mobil', select this and then establish the con-
nection.
