  • Page 13: Gas Line Connection

    GAS LINE CONNECTION The firebox is designed to accept a gas line for an ANSI approved burner. Have the gas line installed by a qualified service person in accordance with all building codes. Consult local building codes to properly size the gas supply line leading to the hook-up at the installed burner. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires that a flexible gas connector cannot exceed three feet in length. Gas access holes are provided on both sides of the firebox. See Figure 12. Carefully remove the knockout in the refractory brick panel using a large standard screwdriver and hammer.
