14. Place the Display Adhesive Heating Plate
(3-00-S3-10000) on the Hot Plate.
15. Set the Hot Plate to 80 °C (176 °F).
// CAUTION //
Do not set the Hot Plate temperature higher
than 80 °C (176 °F). Damage to the phone
may occur.
NOTE
Preheating with an oven is also acceptable if
the oven is set to the same temperature.
16. Place the phone in the Heating Plate, with
the Display side down.
17. Wait 30 seconds for the Display Adhesive
to warm up.
18. Remove the phone from the Heating Plate
or the oven.
// CAUTION //
Wear protective gloves when handling heated
phones.
NOTE
Perform the Display assembly procedure
before the phone starts to cool off.
19. Place the assembled Display and Front
Housing in the Adhesive Alignment Fixture
(3-00-R6-10000) in the Fixture Press as
shown.
