SHAVER
Please read the safety instructions carefully before
using the device for the first time.
PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
Removable shaver head, washable in water.
- Preparation blade for cutting hairs as close to the
skin as possible (1).
- Flexible massage bands for pulling the skin taut and
removing hairs effectively (2).
- Shaver grille for a perfect finish (3).
- Retractable comb, special sensitive zones, for
gently shaving the armpits and bikini region. (4).
Cleaning brush.
USE
- Before switching on the device, remove the bottom
of the device (Fig 1) and insert 2 AA batteries into
the battery compartment (Fig 2). Do not combine
old and new batteries in the device. Do not mix
alkaline, standard (zinc-carbon) or rechargeable
(nickel cadmium) batteries. If the device should stay
unused for long periods or should the batteries go
flat, remove the batteries from the device. This will
also help to prolong their life.
- Replace the bottom of the device carefully.
PREPARING THE SKIN
Before you start, check that the skin is completely clean
and dry. Do not apply either moisturiser or body lotion.
If necessary, scrubbing the skin prior to shaving will
remove dead skin cells and make for easier shaving.
1. SHAVING THE LEGS
Switch on the device. Hold the device at right angles to
the surface to be shaved. Always work with 2 hands:
with one hand, carefully pull the skin taut, and with the
other, move the device slowly, placing slight pressure
on it (Fig 3).
N.B. If the device is pressed too hard on the skin, it
may be slowed down and less effective.
2. SHAVING SENSITIVE AREAS
To shave sensitive areas, use the retractable comb by
using your thumb to press the button located on the
rear of the device (Fig 4).
- To shave the armpits, move the device from bottom
to top, and then from top to bottom.
- To shave the bikini region, pull the skin taut carefully
and move the device from the inside to the outside.
N.B.: Do not apply perfume or deodorant within 24
hours of shaving.
IMPORTANT
Do not shave open wounds, cuts, burns, verrucas,
beauty spots, sunburnt skin or varicose veins. Do not
use in the event of skin irritation or infection, such as
psoriasis and eczema.
If you have any questions on how to use the device,
consult a doctor.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
For maximum hygiene, the device head is washable
in water.
N.B.! The device is not waterproof.
Make sure that the device is switched off before
removing the head.
To remove the device head, press the sides of the
head using the thumb and index finger and remove the
shaver head with an upward movement (Fig 5).
Brush the device head using the cleaning brush and
then put the device head under running water. Let the
device head dry before replacing it.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• WARNING: the polyethylene bags over
the product or its packaging may be
dangerous. Keep these bags out of the
reach of babies and children. Never use
them in cribs, children's beds, pushchairs or
playpens. The thin film may cling to the nose and
mouth and prevent breathing. A bag is not a toy.
• WARNING: do not use over or near
washbasins, bathtubs, showers or other
containers with water. Store the unit in a
dry place.
• If you are using the unit in a bathroom, never
immerse the unit in water or any other liquid.
• If this appliance has been failure or damage, do
not attempt to repair the appliance. Return the
appliance to an authorized service centre for
examination and repair.
• This appliance does not have spare part for
repairing. Contact an authorized service centre for
assistance.
• Use only accessories recommended by Conair.
• Switch off the unit after each use and before
cleaning it.
• This unit is not intended for use by people (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or by persons who lack experience
or knowledge, unless they are supervised or have
been given instructions beforehand on the use of
the unit by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to make sure they
do not treat the unit like a toy.
END-OF-LIFE ELECTRICAL AND
ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
In everybody's interest and to participate actively in
protecting the environment:
• Do not dispose of your products with your household
waste.
• Use the return and collection systems available in
your country.
Some materials can in this way be recycled or
recovered.
RECYCLING CELLS AND
BATTERIES
Before disposing of the unit, remove the cells and
batteries and take them to a place intended for this
purpose. Check beforehand that the cells and batteries
are fully discharged. For full information on how to
remove the cells and batteries please contact
your local distributor.
BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION
1) This product requires 2 size AA type alkaline.
2) Since batteries are sensitive to high
temperatures, when storing them, keep in a
cool dry place.
3) Battery contacts need to be clean, both on
the battery and in the Appliance, before
installation.
4) Batteries should be removed from the
appliance when not being used for long periods
of time (months).
5) Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
6) Use only the power cord supplied with the
appliance.
7) Be careful and install (+) and (-) to the correct
plus and minus on device.
8) Replace all old batteries at one time. Do not
mix old and new.
9) Remove discharged batteries immediately to
avoid leakage.
10) Never put batteries into a fire.
11) Switch off devices after use.
12) Keep batteries away from children, especially
the batteries that are small enough to ingest.
13) If a battery is ingested, seek immediate
medical help.
14) Never open, crush, puncture or disassemble
batteries.
15) Dispose of batteries according to any State
and Local regulations.
16) Do not dispose of rechargeable batteries as
solid waste.
