With deviating temperatures, the charging voltage increases, decreases or switches off accordingly. -

Use the Charger 12.1 Fan Speed The fan speed is adjusted according to the load and the temperature inside the charger. When the load is over 70% of the chargers' amp rating, the fan will turn in 100% speed. If the load is below 70% of the chargers' amp rating, the fan speed will be determined according to the temperature inside the charger. -
