Locking the control panel

You can lock the controls in 2 steps:
Stage 1 All functions on the default displays are oper-
able. Emissions test mode can be switched
on. Message lists are displayed.
All other functions are disabled.
Stage 2 All functions are disabled. Emissions test
mode can be switched on.
Tap the following on-screen buttons:

Unlocking the controls
Tap the following on-screen buttons:
1. Any on-screen button
"Panel locked" is displayed.

"Do you want to unlock the operation?" is dis-
played.
Changing the password for the "Lock panel" function
Tap the following on-screen buttons:

3. "Change password"
4. Enter the current password.

Setting the display brightness

Tap the following on-screen buttons:

3. "Screen setting"
Switching the Lightguide on and off
Depending on the type of heat generator, a red illumi-
nated strip (Lightguide) is displayed at the lower or
upper edge of the control unit during operation.

"Only home screen operable"
5. Enter the password "viessmann".
