CHAPTER 12. SYSTEM'S OPERATION
12.1 Gain Access
Step 1 Press
the screen will show
Enter AccessCode
_
Step 2 Enter the 5-digit Access Code (UserID), e.g. 12345, the screen will show
Enter AccessCode
Place Finger
Step 3 The Finger Sensor will turn RED.
Step 4 Place your finger on the sensor.
• You must use the same finger as you enrolled.
• You must place your finger at approximate the same place on the sensor as you enrolled.
• You have two tries.
Step 5 If access is granted, the system will beep and the door/gate will open.
12.2 LCD Contrast
The LCD contrast is preadjusted from the manufacturer. You may need to adjust the contrast according to the
location where you install the system. See figure 2.1 on page 3 to adjust the LCD contrast.
• Increase the contrast, turn the contrast adjustment clockwise
• Decrease the contrast, turn the contrast adjusment counter closkwise.
12.3 Battery Replacement
The system's battery must be replaced within the period of 3-4 years. The battery replacement part number is
CR2450 3V Lithium.
