CHAPTER 2. INSTALLATION A proper installation of the AeGIS system is very essential. Improper installation will void the warranty. 2.1 Wiegand Interface Connection The AeGIS AFGR9 has one Wiegand output to interface with the AeGIS 9000 Series. The maximum distance between the two units cannot exceed 500 feet using 18 gauge wire. 3.10 ADMIN Code You must enter the 4-digit ADMIN code before entering to Magic Code (Password). The default ADMIN code is 0000. You must change your ADMIN code for security purposes.
