COMMISSIONING THE SMARTPHONE 2.1. Insert SIM and battery If the smartphone is switched on, switch it off before performing this operation. 1. SMARTPHONE USE 3.1. Switching the smartphone on/off To switch on, press and hold the [ON/OFF] button. To turn off, press and hold the [ON/OFF] button, tap OFF. When turning on the smartphone for the first time, follow the on-screen instructions to set it up. Other screens are located next to the Home screen, touch the screen and scroll left and right to view them. To customise screens with your favourite applications (Apps), tap the App icon, tap the green (+) symbol of the App to insert it or the red (-) symbol to remove it from the screen.

Tap the bar at the top of the screen and drag downwards to open the Notification Panel. Drag the bar upwards to close. Tap DELETE ALL to delete all notifications. Quick Activations Opening the Notifications Panel, touching it and scrolling down further will take you to the Quick Triggers Panel to quickly activate and deactivate certain functions by touching their icons.

3.5. How to make a call Tap the Phone App or press the [Call] button, touch the symbol Keys , dial the number. 2. Tap the green handset symbol or press the [Call] button. 3. When finished, tap the red handset symbol or press the [Call] button.

Calling Photo Contacts From the Home screen, scroll to the right. To set up Photo Contacts, tap the Photo Contact icon: -Enter name, tap the arrow symbol at the bottom right, enter number, tap the tick symbol at the bottom right.
3.7. Answering a call 1. Scroll the green handset symbol upwards to answer or press the [Call] key, scroll downwards to reject. To silence the ringer press the [VOLUME] keys. 2. When finished, tap the red handset symbol or press the [Call] button.
3.9. Audio volume adjustment In conversation, press the [VOLUME] buttons to adjust the sound. 3.10. Ringer volume adjustment At rest press the [VOLUME] buttons, tap on the Adjustments symbol , tap and adjust the Ring Volume. 3.11. Silent and vibration modes Press the [VOLUME] buttons, tap the Ringer (Bell) symbol, to switch to Silent mode (Bell symbol crossed out) and Vibrate mode (Vibrate symbol).
3.12. Adding a New Contact to the Address Book 1. Tap the Contacts App , tap the symbol (+) at the bottom. 2. Select where to enter the contact SIM, Phone, Google Account. 3. Enter the Name, touch the screen and scroll up, enter the Number and further details.
3.13. Calling a contact in the address book 1. Tap the Contacts app. Swipe up and down to search for the contact or tap Search Contacts at the top of the screen and type in the name. 2. Tap the contact, then the handset symbol next to the number. 3.14.
3.15. Camera Tap on the Camera App, to take the photo tap on the bottom centre of the display. To shoot a video tap Video, the button in the bottom centre of the display turns red, tap to start and stop recording. Tap the symbol with the two circular arrows at the bottom right to activate the rear or front camera.
3.17. SOS button By holding down the [SOS] button, the smartphone goes into emergency mode: Activates the siren and calls the set telephone numbers. The call attempt rotates 3 times. If one of the numbers answers, the smartphone activates the handsfree function, and once the call has ended, it exits the emergency state.
For settings, tap the SOS App. Tap SOS Contacts, tap the symbol (+) enter name and number manually or add from phonebook, tap Save. Tap SMS SOS to edit the help message. Tap SOS Mode to turn the SOS function on or off. To delete an SOS contact, tap the symbol (-), tap Save.
3.19. Wi-Fi You can connect your smartphone to a Wi-Fi network, as an alternative to connecting to the mobile network via Mobile Data. Tap the Settings / Network and Internet / Wi-Fi app, tap the switch to turn it On. From the list of available networks tap the network to connect to, enter the password, tap CONNECT.
