Mains water connection

ted properly.
Failing to connect the appliance
properly can result in personal injury
and/or material damage.
The appliance may only be connec-
ted to the mains water connection by
suitably qualified specialists.

age due to contaminated water.
The quality of the incoming water
must conform to the requirements for
drinking water in the country where
the combination steam oven is being
used.
Connect the combination steam
oven to the drinking water supply.
Connection to the water supply must
comply with the applicable regula-
tions in the country where the appli-
ance is being installed. All appliances
and systems used to supply water to
the combination steam oven must
also comply with the applicable reg-
ulations in the respective country.
The combination steam oven meets the
requirements of IEC 61770 and
EN 61770.
The combination steam oven may
only be connected to a cold water
supply.

If an upstream domestic water
softening unit is connected, please
make sure that the conductivity level
of the water is maintained.
Water damage due to contamin-
ation.
Contamination in the water supply
pipe may accumulate in the valve of
the combination steam oven. The
valve can no longer close and water
is streaming out.
Flush the water supply pipes before
connecting the combination steam
oven or when working on the water
supply pipe.
A non-return valve is not required be-
cause the combination steam oven
complies with applicable DIN stand-
ards.
The water connection pressure needs
to be between 100 kPa (1 bar) and
600 kPa (6 bar). If the pressure is higher
than 600 kPa, a pressure reducing valve
must be installed.
A stopcock must be provided between
the stainless steel hose and the house-
hold water supply to ensure that the
water supply can be cut off if neces-
sary. Make sure the stopcock remains
easily accessible once the combination
steam oven has been installed.
