5. Safety instructions for use
WARNING!
Risk of injury in the event of unintentional or accidental roller shutter movement!
Pressing the button on the roller shutter switch or hand-held transmitter can cause unintentional roller shutter movements and injure persons. Ensure
that the roller shutter switch and hand-held transmitter are not operated by children and are only used by persons who have been instructed in the op-
eration of the remote-controlled roller shutter systems! You must generally operate the hand-held transmitter with visual contact to the roller shutter.
Always carry out cleaning work on roller shutters in a de-energized state.
6. Use of defective roller shutter motors can endanger persons and/or damage property.
DANGER!
Never use damaged or defective roller shutter motors. Check the roller shutter motor and the connection cable for integrity. Please contact the manu-
facturer if you notice any damage to the unit.
7. Mounting instructions
IMPORTANT!
Make sure that the voltage/frequency specifications on the type plate of the shutter motor match those of the local mains. Before installing the roller
shutter motor, disassemble and decommission all components, equipment and cables that are not required. Moving parts of drives operated below
2.5 m from the ground must be protected. It is imperative that the roller shutter shaft is mounted horizontally, otherwise damage to the roller shutter
motor or the roller shutter itself may occur if the roller shutter is wound up or unwound at an angle. The inspection cover of the roller shutter box should
be easily accessible be easily accessible and should not be plastered or wallpapered over.
8. Further important notes
• Roller shutter motors must not be used in a damp environment.
• To increase the service life, avoid unnecessary overloading of the roller shutter motor due to constant operation (e.g. children playing).
• Roller shutter motors are not designed for continuous operation. If the operating time of 4 minutes is exceeded, the thermostat switch of the roller
shutter motor switches off. CAUTION! The housing may become hot. Wait 20 minutes until the roller shutter motor is ready for operation again.
• The end positions of the roller shutter motors can only be set in the installed state.
• Keep the instructions and the shutter motor label in a safe place.
9. Disposal
Roller shutter motors are considered special waste and must not be disposed of with household waste.

Warranty Conditions

Warranty
We are exempt from warranty and product liability if own structural changes are made or improper installations are carried out or arranged against our
specified installation guidelines without our prior consent. Furthermore, we do not accept any responsibility for the accidental or careless operation
of the motor as well as for the improper maintenance of the motor and the accessories as well as for the improper maintenance of the roller shutter.
Batteries are also excluded from warranty claims.
Warranty Duration
In addition to the dealer's statutory warranty under the purchase agreement, we provide the following Warranty from the date of purchase:
• 5 years
• 2 years on radio receviers/transmitters and accessories
Claiming the warranty does not extend the warranty period. For replacement deliveries and repair work, the warranty period is six months, but not less
than the current warranty period.
