Installing the Cellular Router
Configuring IP Settings for Tracer SC+
The Digi cell router is preconfigured to connect directly with the default Port 2 settings on the Tracer
BAS controller. To confirm the settings at the Tracer BAS user interface, navigate to
Installation>Identification and Communications>IP Configuration to view the Identification and
Communications page.
1. Click Edit to expand the data frames.
2. In the Ethernet Network Port 2 frame, verify that Enable the Ethernet connection for Ethernet

Tracer SC+ Installation
Depending on the installation method of the Tracer SC+ system controller, there may not be sufficient
space in the controller enclosure to properly install the Digi cellular router. Depending on signal strength,
follow the instructions for Moderate or Poor Cellular Signal Strength.

Network Port 2 is selected.
The IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway should be populated with the Digi cell router
information. Refer to the following figure for an example.
