Charge status

Available battery power is shown
in the upper right corner of the
display as both a battery icon and
a percentage (see Fig. 18).

When charge is depleted to or
below 15%: the inner segments
of the battery icon will turn red
(see Fig. 18) to indicate that
the battery requires charging
(Refer to Section: 7.3.3).

Charging

1. Connect the micro-USB con-
nector cable to the charging
port located at the base of the
IR LD 1.0 (see Fig. 19).
2. Connect the other end of the
micro-USB cable to the provid-
ed 5V DC 1.0A wall charger.
3. Connect wall charger to main
power supply.

 With power OFF and charger
4. Allow the IR LD 1.0 to charge
until the display shows 100%.

The battery takes approximately
3 hours to charge completely.

DC power source, if the USB
adapter outputs a minimum
1.0A.

Avoid completely depleting
the battery. Recharging a
partially depleted battery more
frequently is better for the life
of a lithium-ion battery.
