TRAILER TOWING
Your vehicle is designed as a
passenger commercial vehicle with a
towing capability. Your rights under
the Ford Vehicle Warranty will not be
limited, provided loading complies
with the instructions in this section.
Trailer towing can affect the handling, durability and fuel economy of your vehicle.
The towing capability of your vehicle will depend on the vehicle specification,
load, condition, trailer size and specification and also road, terrain and weather
conditions.
The maximum permissible towed mass is dictated by the vehicle and towbar
design. There are also legal limits which depend on whether brakes or other
equipment are fitted to the trailer, caravan, or other towed equipment. Check the
laws and regulations in the location in which you will be towing.
