Omnipod® 5 System Start Omnipod® 5 System Management and Optimization Beginning Automated Mode An active Pod and CGM transmitter serial number are required to switch to Automated Mode. Users can Adjustable Settings switch to Automated Mode immediately with the first Pod.
At times, the Omnipod 5 App may lose communication with the active Pod. If this occurs, the POD INFO equipped with a SIM card that allows connection to cellular tab on the Omnipod 5 App will display “No Pod Communication” and the user will have the option to tap data at no cost.
