Assembly may require the assistance of
another person.
Before you begin assembly:
READ THE DIRECTIONS all the way through one
time. This will speed up the process and help you
understand the sequence of steps.
COUNT THE PARTS AND HARDWARE before
assembly. This ensures you have received all
necessary parts before you begin.
TOOLS: You may need a Phillips head screwdriver,
a medium slotted screwdriver or a plastic mallet. To
protect your new furniture from damage during
assembly, it is recommended to work on a
carpeted surface.

CAUTION: On assemblies requiring glue, make
sure the unit is assembled correctly before gluing.
Once this unit is assembled with glue, the
manufacturer will not be responsible for damaged
parts. Keep a damp cloth or sponge handy to wipe
off excess glue.
To care for this furniture, simply wipe with a cloth
dampened with glass cleaner containing ammonia-D.

  • Page 4 Using the Minifix System: Insert the Minifix Cams into the appropriate holes with the arrow facing outwards as shown. When screwing post into hole, Do Not over tighten.   • Page 5 If you are attaching the Adder unit to a previously assembled carrel, it will be necessary to remove the Right Side (B). With the help of an assistant, lay the unit onto its back. Turn the arrows of the Minifix Cams (H1) on Back (D) counter-clockwise to unlock Right Side.
  • Page 6 Insert eight Rafix Cams (H2) into the Top (C) with the flat edge of the cams aligned with the edge of the panel. Insert four Rafix Cams into the Shelf (E) with the flat edge of the cams aligned with the edge of the panel.
  • Page 7 The height of the Top (C) is optional. Select the height that suits your needs. If it wasn’t done during assembly of the Base Carrel (LC36), screw three Rafix Bolts (H8) into the appropriate set of predrilled holes in the Side Panel (B) where indicated.
  • Page 8 Position the Back (D) as shown onto the bolts and dowels of the Divider (F). Turn the arrows of the cams (H1) clockwise to secure. Note: Move the cardboard filler from Steps 8 & 9 to support the Adder Back (D). This will aid you in attaching the Right Side (B).
  • Page 9 # 12 Peel the paper off of the adhesive strip on the Wire Trough (H9). Attach the Wire Trough to the Back of the unit and secure in place by driving two Panhead Screws (H11) through the predrilled holes in the Wire Trough. Note: It will be difficult to remove or reposition the wire trough once the Back and Top are joined.
