7. Driving operation

Observe the safety instructions for driving in these instructions!
Familiarize yourself with the driving behavior of the model step by step.
• Stand behind the model and steer it away from you first. The model's reaction to the steering is the same as when you are at the wheel
yourself.
• Then let the model move towards you. The reaction direction is now mirror-inverted to the steering direction.
• Now start simple driving exercises by purposefully driving circles or a „figure eight" as evenly as possible.
• Use light, unattached pylons as boundaries and turnaround marks to mark out a course with alternating driving directions and practice
cornering.
• Gradually increase the driving speed and observe the driving behavior. Always maintain direct visual contact with the model.
Maintenance
Please use only high-quality tools for any repair or maintenance work, otherwise the screws may be damaged.
Regular controls
Check:
• The model and the transmitter for visible damage,
• The tight fit of all screw connections; parts and screw connections can come loose during operation.
• The smooth running of all rotating or moving parts,
• Connectors for contact and cables for secure routing,
• The tight fit of the feedback arms and the servo arm on the servo shaft,
• The charging status of the transmitter and drive batteries,
• The symmetrical adjustment of the dampers of an axle,
• The condition of the tires
Care
After each cleaning, the moving parts must be relubricated. Also clean the cooling fins of the electric motor thoroughly.
Leaking oil/grease must be removed thoroughly, otherwise dust can accumulate particularly well here.
