Manual
6. Getting the model ready
The model is already assembled ready to drive and can be put into operation directly after charging the transmitter batteries and the drive battery.
The drive and control components are mounted and wired, the binding between transmitter and receiver is done by itself, after each power-up.
A) Putting the transmitter into operation: Operating elements and functions of the transmitter
Control wheel for steering function
Depending on the direction of rotation of the control wheel, the servo arm of the connected steering servo moves to the right or left.
The wheels are thus turned to the right or left via the corresponding linkages.
Control lever for driving function
Hold the transmitter in your hand and pull the throttle towards you with your index finger, the car will drive forward.
Push the throttle lever forward, the car slows down and then drives backwards (with 2nd operation).
The control LED indicates the power-on status of the transmitter.
The on/off switch is used to turn the transmitter on or off.
Steering Trim (ST TRIM)
If your model does not go straight in neutral, use the trim to adjust the straight steering.
Trim Throttle (TH D/R)
If your model starts to move on its own in neutral, use the trim to adjust the neutral point.
B) Inbetriebnahme des Modells
The model is already assembled ready to drive and can be put into operation directly after charging the transmitter batteries and the drive battery.
However, please check all screws etc. for tightness. Perform a function check before each ride. The drive and control components are mounted and
wired, the binding between transmitter and receiver is done by itself, after each switching on.
If the binding between transmitter and model does not take place, you must perform it manually. To do this, unscrew the
upper deck so that the receiver is exposed. Press the binding button of the receiver and switch on the power supply of the controller.
Now switch on the remote control and operate the steering wheel (keep the binding button pressed during the entire procedure). The binding is
now complete.
The drive battery is inserted on the underside of the model. To do this, remove the screw of the battery compartment cover and unlock it. The
compartment can now be opened and the battery inserted. Close the compartment again. Always remove the battery after driving!
C) Charging the drive battery
Be sure to follow the instructions on pages 21-22!
Charge the battery outside the model to avoid overheating during the charging process.
The charging connection cable of the drive battery is equipped with a plug-in system that is protected against polarity reversal.
ATTENTION!
Before the battery can be used again after charging, it must be completely cooled down.
•
Insert the charged drive battery into the model.
•
Loosen the cotter pin of the battery compartment and open it.
•
Place the drive battery on the battery holder.
•
If necessary, place some foam rubber in the battery tray to ensure a tight fit of the battery.
•
Close the battery compartment again and secure it with the cotter pin.
•
If the model is not used, always disconnect the battery and remove it from the model.
•
Use only suitable batteries!
Perform a visual inspection of the model:
•
Are the wheel nuts and screw connections tight?
•
Is the servo control lever firmly seated on the servo shaft?
•
Is the drive battery charged and fixed in the holder?
•
Are the rotating and moving parts running smoothly?
•
Are the cables routed and secured so that they cannot get caught in moving parts?
•
Are the spring preload screw rings set the same on both sides of an axle?
