t h e c l e a r a n c e is not w i t h i n specifi c a t i o n , a d j u s t w i t h t h e
a d j u s t i n g screw.
NOTE:
Since the position of Ihe push rod depends on
altitude, the clearance mentioned above m u s t be 0 . 1 - 0.3
m m (0.004 - 0 . 0 1 2 i n . ) plus the a m o u n t of push rod s h i f t
a s s h o w n i n the figure.

la) Apply 1 . 3 6 kg/cm:! ( 1 9.3 psi, 1 3 3 kPal of pressure to
the boost com pensator.
fb) Measure t h e push rod stroke.
Push rod strok e :
I f the stroke is nol within spec i f ication, replace the boost
compensator.
Ic) ApplV 1.36 kg/cm:2 1 1 9 , 3 psi, 133
