Soft-Off by PWR-BTTN
This feature allows users to configure the Power Button function. Settings are:
[Instant-Off]
[Delay 4 Sec.] W hen you press the power button, the computer enters the
CPU THRM-Throttling
The item allows you to specify the CPU speed (at percentage) to which it will slow
down when the CPU reaches the predetermined overheat temperature. Settings
range from [12.5%] to [87.5%] at [12.5%] increment.
**Reload Global Timer Events**
Primary/Secondary IDE 0/1, FDD, COM, LPT Port, PCI PIRQ [A-D] #
The global timer is the hardware timer that counts down to the power saving modes.
If the monitoring of the listed hardware peripherals or components is enabled, the
activity of the specified peripherals or components will awaken the system or reload
the original count of global timer when they are accessed.
Wakeup Event Setup
Press <Enter> to enter the sub-menu and the following screen appears:
PCI Express PME
W hen setting to [Enabled], this setting allows your system to be awakened from
the power saving modes through any event on PCI express PME (Power Man-
agement Event). Setting options: [Disabled], [Enabled].
Wake-Up by PCI card
W hen set to [Enabled], the feature allows your system to be awakened from the
power saving modes through any event on PME (Power Management Event).
Setting options: [Enabled], [Disabled].
Power On by Ring
An input signal on the serial Ring Indicator (RI) line (in other words, an incoming
call on the modem) awakens the system from a soft off state. Setting options:
[Disabled], [Enabled].

The power button functions as a normal power-on/-off button.

than four seconds, the computer is turned off.
