  • Page 2 No special tools are required for installing the 854-(v)6. Mounting Options There are two options to install the 854-(v)6: desktop and wall mount. Be sure to route and secure the cables in a manner that will prevent damage. These options are described below.
  • Page 3 Resetting the Device A reset button is available if the 854-(v)6 needs to be rebooted or restored to factory defaults. To reboot the 854-(v)6, press the Reset button on the back panel of the device for less than 5 seconds. To reset the device to factory defaults, press the Reset button for 5 seconds or more.

Quick setup instructions of Wi-Fi and connection to the Internet for your 854-(v)6 will vary based on which OS is installed on the device. Confirm whether your 854-(v)6 is deployed with SmartOS firmware or PlumeOS firmware, then choose accordingly from the following options.
  • Page 6 Electrical ■ Power is provided by a 12V DC power adapter that is included with the 854-(v)6. The power adapter operates from a power source of 100 to 240V AC, 50 - 60 Hz. The nominal output is 12V DC ±5% with a minimum current rating of 3.0 Amps. For US and Canadian applications, a UL Listed limited power source (LPS) is supplied and required for use.
