A. Assembly and disassembly should always be carried out
while the system is cold and not in pressure.
B. Position: the valve can be installed in any position except
upside down.
C. Shut-off: the valve on the pipe leading to the boiler should
never be shut off in any way.
D. Circulation direction: observe the circulation direction
indicated on the valves.
E. The maximum distance from the boiler should be 1 m.
The discharge pipe must be the same size as the valve
discharge fitting. It must not be longer than 2 m, with no more
than 2 elbows, and must not allow condensation to build up
or freezing to occur.
F. The end of the discharge pipe must be fitted so that the
discharge outlet is visible and cannot cause any damage.
G. Temperature: temperatures which could cause burns may be
reached during the discharge process.
H. Freezing and condensation: position the valve so that it is
not exposed to the risk of freezing and/or the formation of
condensation.
I. Checking: the valve should be checked annually by turning
the knob manually so that the medium is discharged, thus
cleaning the seal seat.
L. Leaks: if the valve leaks, with the medium flowing out
constantly or dripping, it should be checked by a qualified
technician.
