SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Ask someone to help you mounting the trans-
port bar. This will ease mounting.
Make sure that you mount the transport bar in the
intended direction. This is the case when the angled
struts, seen from the side, point forward in the di-
rection of travel so that they are parallel to the seat
post (e).
Hold the transport bar above the rear pannier rack
at the level of the screw holes (f).
Insert the four torx bolts loosely together with the
countersunk washer into the screw holes. This
keeps the transport bar on the correct height.
Using your fingers turn the bolts two to three turns
into the integrated thread in the rear pannier rack
(g).
Start by turning the bolts with a T 25 Torx key and
finish by tightening them to 8 Nm by using a torque
wrench (h). Strictly observe the indicated torque
value.
WARNING
In the interest of your own safety and that of
your passengers, do not overdo it when main-
taining your CENTURION VARIO and making
any adjustments and assembly work. If you
are not absolutely sure or have any questions,
contact your CENTURION dealer.
