Page 1 EVELO Galaxy SL Quick Start Guide Welcome to your EVELO Galaxy SL! You’ve made a great decision to purchase the best electric bike on the market, and we encourage you to read through the included display panel manual and user guide.
Page 2 A quick note on assembly: your Galaxy SL has hydraulic brakes, and includes a spacer in the front brake caliper to keep the brake pistons retracted. This must be removed prior to assembly, and should be installed when the front wheel is removed.
Page 3 Familiarize yourself with the controls. Brakes: Your Galaxy SL includes front and rear brake levers, equipped with cutoff switches which turn off power to the motor when the brakes are pressed. It’s recommended to squeeze both brakes with equal power at the same time for stopping.
Page 4 Some tips for riding your Galaxy SL: • Start slow! If this is your first time on an electric bike we recommend using a low level of assist until you are comfortable with the ride and handling. • Start in Pedal Assist 1 or 2. You can use a bit of throttle to get going if you need a boost. A little goes a long way.
