OPERATION
Regenerative braking
When driving the Club Car Urban, the traction motor will perform regenerative brak-
ing of the vehicle. When releasing the accelerator pedal while driving, the motor will
charge the battery while slowing the vehicle down.
It is possible to greatly increase the electric range of the vehicle and extend the life
of the service brakes with this function.
Braking with parking brake
If the parking brake should engage during driving at higher speeds than 6 mph (10
km/h) please contact a qualified repair shop for a parking brake safety and function
check. Parking brake performance degradation can occur if it has been subject to un-
intended use. It is recommended that maintenance is provided by an Authorized Club
Car Service Dealer.
Speed switch
The vehicle is quipped with a speed switch to change between
ECO mode and SPORT mode. In ECO mode the car will have
maximum range and a top speed of 16 mph/25 kph. In SPORT
mode the car will accelerate faster, have shorter range and a
top speed of 34mph/55 kph.
Toggle between ECO and SPORT mode by pushing the right
navigation button on the instrument cluster. Symbols on the
screen wil indicate the actual mode.
