GENERAL SAFETY ADVICE

1 - Read the advice in this manual carefully as it provides important infor-
mation regarding safe installation, use and maintenance. Keep this manual
safe to refer back to.
2 - After removing the packaging, make sure that the appliance is intact.
In case of any doubt, do not use the appliance and contact the retailer.
The packaging components must be kept out of the sight and the reach of
children as they are a potential safety hazard.
3 - Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the electrical supply is
compatible with the data on the motor label.
4 - Do not place any objects inside the thermal ventilation unit.
5 - This appliance should be used only for that which it is specifically intend-
ed for, i.e. dehydrating food. Any other use should be considered misuse and
therefore dangerous. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for any harm
resulting from improper, incorrect or unreasonable use.
6 - The use of any electrical appliance requires certain fundamental rules to
be observed – in particular:
DO NOT TOUCH THE THERMAL VENTILATION UNIT WITH WET OR DAMP HANDS
- DO NOT LEAVE THE APPLIANCE EXPOSED TO ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS
- DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN OR PEOPLE WITH REDUCED PHYSICAL, SENSORY OR
MENTAL CAPACITY OR PEOPLE WHO ARE INEXPERIENCED TO USE THE APPLIANCE
- DO NOT PULL ON THE POWER CABLE OR THE APPLIANCE ITSELF TO
UNPLUG FROM THE SOCKET
- KEEP ANIMALS AWAY FROM ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
7 - Do not use the appliance near to bathtubs, showers, sinks, swimming
pools or other sources of water. Position the dryer at a distance of at least
60 cm.
8 - Keep the appliance at a distance of at least 60 cm from flammable ob-
jects or substances.
9 - For any intervention on the electrical parts, contact the retailer.
10 - WARNING: In order to avoid any danger due to accidental resetting of
the thermal cut-off device, this device must not be powered by an external
switching device, such as a timer, nor must it be connected to a circuit that
is regularly powered or disconnected from service.
