Automatic regeneration
Automatic DPF regeneration does not require any interven-
tion by the operator.
In case of active regeneration, the indicator light on the con-
trol and command panel that indicates the high temperature
of the exhaust system switches on.
Manual regeneration
When the DPF clogging level reaches 90% or higher (levels
3 and 4), the system requires a manual regeneration.
The ATT filter and exhaust system high temperature indica-
tor lights on the control and command panel switch on.
As soon as it is possible to interrupt the work session,
disconnect all loads from the generating set and leave the
engine running until regeneration is complete.
The time it takes to clean the DPF depends on the degree
of clogging, the ambient temperature and the exhaust gas
temperature.

WARNING
Forced regeneration must only be carried out if required by the control unit and when the ATT
filter indicator light on the control panel switches on (Accumulation level 3 and 4).
Do not regenerate when accumulation level is 0, 1, or 2.
Repeated regenerations cause heavy engine oil contamination by fuel.
If the regeneration inhibition function is abused, the particle accumulation level increases in a
short time.
Allowed fuel contamination in the engine oil is 3% MAX.
During regeneration, the main machine switch must be in the ON position (insertion lever up-
wards).
During regeneration, do not operate any command.
DANGER
Before starting the DPF regeneration procedure, make sure that there are no people, animals or
flammable material nearby and that the place is well ventilated.
Remove all flammable material that may be present around the machine such as dry leaves or
pieces of paper.
During DPF regeneration, avoid approaching the outlet of the exhaust pipe and walking around
the device to avoid burns.
Also, keep flammable materials away from the exhaust pipe to prevent fires.
Carefully check the machine and the surrounding area to verify the absence of incandescent
residues during and after DPF regeneration.
