1. GENERAL

This practice is an installation and maintenance guide
for the 3192 Integrated Central Office Terminal
(ICOT), P/N 1179512L2, illustrated in Figure 1. This
unit is to be used exclusively with the Total Access
1000 Remote, P/N 1179001L1.

• Flash Upgrade of the ICOT and the Total Access

• Provides span power at ±135 VDC to the entire
Total Access 1000 system
• 10-year Warranty
Description
The 3192 ICOT is a high performance line interface
unit used to deploy HDSL using 4-wire metallic
facilities. This unit occupies two slots in the 3192
shelf. The ADTRAN 3192 ICOT must be deployed in
conjunction with ADTRAN Total Access 1000
Remote System. The 3192 ICOT can be deployed in
circuits consisting of one ICOT and one
