Replacing the front audio and USB assembly

This section provides instructions on how to replace the front audio and USB
assembly.
To replace the front audio and USB assembly, do the following:

1. Remove all media from the drives and turn off all attached devices and the
computer. Then, disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and
disconnect all cables that are connected to the computer.

4. Disconnect the front audio and USB assembly cables from the front USB
connector and the front audio connector on the system board. See "Locating

5. Pivot the drive bay assembly upward to gain access to all the internal cables.
See "Accessing the system board components and drives" on page 125.
6. Release the front audio and USB assembly cables from the cable clip that
secures the cables to the chassis.
7. Lower the drive bay assembly. See "Accessing the system board components
and drives" on page 125.
8. Remove the screw that secures the front audio and USB assembly. Then,
remove the front audio and USB assembly from the chassis.
