B-3 Updating the camera drivers and firmware
You should periodically check for updates to your camera's drivers and
firmware to ensure the best possible performance. Diffraction Limited supplies
a software utility program named the SBIG 64-Bit Driver Checker Utility that
will update both of these elements. The program can be freely downloaded from
the Diffraction Limited website. Use the following procedure to update the STF
camera drivers and firmware.
1. Go to the Diffraction Limited website at:
http://diffractionlimited.com/
2. Navigate to the Products page for your camera and click the Downloads tab.
3. Under the Software section, click the appropriate Download button for
SBIGUDrv. The download begins automatically.
4. Go to your local Downloads folder and double-click the
SetupDriverChecker64.exe file to install the program. Follow the onscreen
instructions.
5. Start the SBIG 64-Bit Driver Checker Utility when the installation
completes. The utility opens on the Drivers tab.
6. Click the Update button to update to the latest drivers.
