This Carton contains the DWK fuel bed which is suitable for use with the
following electric fire models LEX2, LEX3 and LEX4.
Note: These fuel bed components must not be used in a gas appliance
The illustrations below show suggest fuel bed layouts for your LEX electric fire. These illustrations are for
guidance; you may wish to arrange your fuel bed components to suite your individual taste.
Before you lay the logs provided in this carton, ensure you have first installed the
Glass Embers and Vermiculite provided with the appliance. Spread the Glass
Embers evenly over the fuel bed filter, then sprinkle the Vermiculite into the
gaps between the Glass Embers. Be careful when handling the glass
embers as they may have sharp edges. Wear gloves if necessary.
• When installing the logs, turn the fireplace's lights on to help placing
them in the best position to highlight their details.
• Once the logs are installed, use a bit of putty (included) to prevent a
cross log from sliding off the bottom log it sits on.
