    Operate the starter. STOPPING THE ENGINE RECOIL STARTER: To stop the engine in an em ergency, simply turn the engine sw itch to the OFF position. Under normal conditions, use the following Pull the starter grip lightly until you feel resistance, then pull procedure.

    SETTING ENGINE SPEED Position the throttle lever for the desired engine speed. Som e engine applications use a rem ote-m ounted throttle control rather than the engine-m ounted throttle lever show n here. Refer to the instructions provided by the equipm ent m anufacturer. For engine speed recom m endations, refer to the instructions provided w ith the equipm ent pow ered by this engine.

    Keep cigarettes, sparks and flam es aw ay from all fuel related parts. Remember that an authorized Honda servicing dealer know s your engine best and is fully equipped to m aintain and repair it. To ensure the best quality and reliability, use only new genuine Honda parts or their equivalents for repair and replacem ent.

    Install the oil filler cap/dipstick and tighten securely. Oil Level Check OIL FILLER CAP/ Check the engine oil level w ith the engine stopped and in a level DIPSTICK position. Rem ove the oil filler cap/dipstick and w ipe it clean. Insert the oil filler cap/dipstick into the oil filler neck as show n, WASHER but do not screw it in, then rem ove it to check the oil level.
