Starting the Engine
C heck t he fu e l a nd e ng i ne oi l l eve l before st ar t ing t he e ngine .
(single cylinder GX models)
Turn the fuel valve lever
to the ON position.
Move the choke lever
to the CLOSED position.
Move the throttle control lever
slightly to the left.
Engine
Turn the engine switch
to the ON position.
Pull the starter grip lightly
until you feel resistance,
and then pull briskly.
Gradually move the choke lever
to the OPEN position as the engine
warms up.
