ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION You can install the C2620 / C2640 Hardlife container shelter with a 3–4 member team of your own in 1–2 days, by carefully following the instructions provided in this Instruction Manual. BASE PLATE INSTALLATION Refer to Figures 3 and 4 to place the base plates for the C2620 and C2640 container shelters, respectively. All measurements are from centre to centre of the tubes. 1. Arrange the 4 / 7 base plates (with tie-down ratchet on the left) (component code L1) and the 4 / 7 base plates (with tie-down ratchet on the right) (component code R1), as shown in Figures 3 and 4, for C2620 and C2640, respectively.

Assemble all the arches and lay them on the ground. Do not erect them until all the arches have been assembled. CAUTION Do not install the bolt on top of the truss, where the fabric will rest, as it can tear the fabric. Figure 7 (C2620) www.hardlifeutility.com...
Figure 8 (C2640) FRAME INSTALLATION 1. Erect the assembled first arch to the standing position. Insert one end of the assembled arch into one base plate and force the other end of the arch into the opposite base plate, as shown in Figures 5, 6, 7, and 8. 2.
3. Plug both the ends of the lower tensioning tubes with the Ø32 plastic plugs for the lower tensioning tube (component code 12), as shown in Figures 9 and 10. Figures 13 and 14. Start at the top middle of each arch, and lace down to the sides. You can add rope length by tying pieces together or cutting the rope as necessary. 9. Finally, for the C2620 shelter, tie the roof cover to the angle seats, as shown in Figure 15. NOTE: Ensure that you do not over tighten the lacings.
NOTE: Use duct tape to close the gaps in between the steel frame after installation of the shelter, if required, as shown in Figure 16. Duct tape is also used on some tube connections near the top of the frame to ensure that the roof cover doesn’t tear from rubbing against sharp corners.
