  • Page 7 INSTALL THE SHOULDER HARNESS LOOP When operating the brush cutter add-on, the shoulder harness must be used that was provided with this add-on. Check to see if the trimmer has a wire form support fitting that the shoulder strap can clip to. If the unit has the fitting that is shown in Figure 3, the provided harness loop does not need to be installed.

    OPERATION HOLDING THE UNIT WARNING: Always wear eye, hearing, hand, foot and body protection to reduce the risk of injury when operating this unit. • Stand in the operating position (Fig. 11). • Hold the shaft grip with the right hand. Keep the right arm slightly bent.

Always allow the unit to cool before servicing or repairing the unit. Disconnect the spark plug wire to prevent the unit from starting accidentally.

  • Page 21 IINSTALACIÓN DEL LAZO DEL ARNÉS PARA LOS HOMBROS Cuando trabaje con el accesorio cortamalezas colocado, debe usar el arnés para los hombros que viene con ese accesorio. Verifique que el recortador tenga un enganche de alambre al que pueda enganchar la correa para los hombros. Si la unidad tiene un acople de fijación como el de la Figura 3, no se necesita colocar el lazo del arnés para los hombros.
