    ASSEMBLY INSTALLING THE CUTTING HEAD SHIELD Slot Cutting Head Mount Bracket Shield WARNING: To prevent serious personal injury, never operate the unit without the cutting head shield in place. Use the following instructions if the cutting head shield is not installed.

    OPERATION HOLDING THE TRIMMER WARNING: Always wear eye, hearing, hand, foot and body protection to reduce the risk of injury when operating this unit. • Stand in the operating position (Fig. 6). • Hold the shaft grip with the right hand. Keep the right arm slightly bent.
