If allocating the psspspot resource fails, follow these steps to determine and

This check should inform you if there is a problem. In our environment the
command produced the following message:

0042-062 m_ckspot: "psspspot" is missing something which is
required
the SPOT by issuing the following command:
# nim -o cust -a lpp_source=lppsource psspspot
In our environment this did not work either because of the severity of the
problem with the SPOT. Instead we got the following message:
